Petitioner is aggrieved that Raghunathganj Police Station Case No. 79/2025 dated 06.01.2025 although registered for investigation, but there has been no substantial progress in the case and the petitioner also expresses her dissatisfaction regarding the mode and manner of investigation.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects regarding the steps taken pursuant to the directions passed by the learned ACJM under section 175(3) of the BNSS, 2023. The investigation has commenced on 16.01.2025.

If the petitioner is aggrieved, petitioner must first approach the Investigating Officer regarding her issues relating to grievance as the Investigating Officer has already recorded statements, collected injury report and is proceeding according to the

circumstances under which the police authorities are supposed to investigate.

Petitioner is granted liberty to file a written representation herself and address her grievance to the Investigating Officer. Investigating Officer, if required, will seek guidance from the Superior Officers of the Police and thereafter take steps for taking the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion.

If the petitioner complains that there is any threat to her life or property in that case, if an application is taken out before the learned Magistrate, learned Magistrate would pass necessary directions upon the police authorities concerned after receiving a threat perception report.

Police authorities will adhere to the directions passed by the learned Magistrate under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 3727 0f 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
