It appears from the order dated 16th October, 2023 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court and the instructions addressed by the Technical Secretary, Public Works Department to the learned Additional Government Pleader that the Government of West Bengal has agreed to provide a loan of Rs.1,00,80,761/- for disbursing arrears pay from 1st January, 2020 till 31st December, 2020 to 78 employees and petitioners of Westinghouse Saxby Farmer Limited. The said persons are the petitioners in these two writ petitions.

In that view of the matter, this Court directs the Management of Westinghouse Saxby Farmer Limited to immediately obtain the aforesaid loan and pay the arrears to the 78 employees and pensioners after due verification from 1st January, 2020 till 31st December, 2020 mandatorily and positively within a period of 45

days from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
