Plea raised in this Public Interest Petition is that village Bhawkol and village Pana @ Panarhat are adjoining villages and the offices of the banks, healthcare centres, post office and other establishments though are open at Bhawkol but are in the name of Pana @ Panarhat or contain the address of Pana. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that all funds are sanctioned in the name of village Pana and Bhawkol.

In this background, the prayer has been made in the petition to issue a direction to the respondents to take necessary actions for rectification of all the signboards of establishments and landmarks situated within the boundaries of Bhawkol with the name of Bhawkol by replacing the name of Pana @ Panarhat.

Learned counsel for the State has raised an objection that the Public Interest Petition has been directly filed

before this Court without raising any such grievance before the competent authority.

We do not find any enclosure to the petition raising any such grievance before the authorities.

Hence, we dispose of the petition granting liberty to the petitioner to raise the grievance at the first instance before the competent authority. We make it clear that we have not gone into the issue of maintainability of the present petition.
