Petitioner complains that although on the information furnished, Madhabdihi P.S. Case No.22 of dated 29.01.2024 was registered for investigation but proper steps have not been taken by the police authorities.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that series of cases are pending between the petitioner and the private respondents.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that no proper steps have been taken by the police authorities.

In view of the same, the police authorities if they have not submitted charge-sheet till now will put in efforts so that within a reasonable period of time report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. is filed. As the petitioner and the private respondents presently are at loggerhead because of series of cases pending amongst them, the Officer-in-Charge is directed to keep a strict vigil and to ensure that no breach of the peace takes place or any untoward incident crops up because of inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 3778 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
