The present petitioner has been filed for expeditious disposal of petition under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act by the petitioner pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court at Alipore. 2.

Learned counsel submits that the petition is pending since 2019 and is at the stage of evidence.

Learned counsel submits that a direction may be issued to the learned trial court for expeditious disposal. 4.

In view of the submissions made, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court at Alipore/successor court/learned Judgein-Charge, is directed to conduct the proceedings expeditiously in accordance with law.
