In view of this Court's order dated 16.12.2024, a copy of an order of a Coordinate Bench of this Court has been filed and prays for similar direction.

From the record it appears that the respondent/ West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "the WBSEDCL") has already paid a sum of Rs.50,000/- on humanitarian ground to the petitioner due to electrocution took place and the husband of the petitioner expired.

She also made representation before the respondent authority on 24.01.2023 which is also annexed to the writ petition. The same is pending for consideration at the end of respondent authority.

Therefore, without entering into the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the competent authority of the WBSEDCL, particularly the

concerned Zonal Manager, Medinipur Zonal Office, WBSEDCL, P.O.: Midnapore, PIN-721101 to consider and dispose of the representation made by the writ petitioner on 24th January, 2023 within a period of 12 weeks from date of communication of a copy of this order and pass a reasoned order thereof independently and in accordance with law after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties. Let the said reasoned order be communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 7.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the WBSEDCL is directed to forward a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court to the petitioner immediately.

As the case has not been taken up on merit, whatever allegations made in the writ petition is deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. 9.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
