1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

2. The petitioner has participated in a process for recruitment of Homoeopathic Medical Officers. One of the requisites as per the advertisement was submission of his certificate specifying the number of chances taken for clearing the yearly exams of the course. Such certificate, needless to say is required to be issued by the competent authority/examiner.

3. The petitioner claims to have submitted his chance certificate dated 16th March, 2024 when the authorities allowed a chance for uploading such documents, by their notice dated 18th December, 2024. According to him the same is not being

accepted since the same does not bear a memo number from the issuing authority.

4. He submits that he has approached the Tribunal in this regard by filing O.A. No. 99 of 2025. The Tribunal, however, has fixed 27th February, 2025 as the date in the matter. However, the date for interview is fixed on 18th February, 2025. He, therefore, submits that there is no scope or occasion for the petitioner to seek any interim directions, as the date has been fixed much after the date of interview.

5. The learned State counsel upon instructions submits that there are sixteen such instances where the chance certificate has been submitted without containing a memo number. He has handed over a table containing the details of such sixteen applicants, including the petitioner who is at Serial No. 4 in the list. Let the same be kept on record.

6. After giving us copy of the table he submits that he is under instructions that the Health Recruitment Board is to consider the fate of such applicants who have submitted chance certificate without memo number on 19th February, 2025.

7. In view of such development since the issue is to be considered by the authorities on 19th February, 2025 we leave it open for the petitioner to approach

the Tribunal for interim relief by making a mention in this regard, if required.
