The petitioner seeks enforcement of an interim order passed by a coordinate Bench in WP No. 18933(W) of 2014 (Maa Ganga Matshajibi Samabay Samity & Anr.-vs.-The State of West Bengal & Ors.). The writ petitioner challenged an order dated 31st March, 2014 passed by the BL & LRO terminating the petitioner's lease in respect of a pond. In the said writ petition, interim orders have been passed permitting the petitioner to exploit the pond, during the consideration of the propriety of the order of the BL & LRO referred to hereinabove.

The writ petitioner also approached this Court in CPAN No. 2194 of 2015. Rule has been issued and the application is pending consideration. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the view that another writ petitioner to enforce the said order passed in WP 18933(W) of 2014 need not be entertained.

WPA No. 3617 of 2023 stands disposed.
