Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, there is hardly any progress at the trial.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, all of the prosecution witnesses excepting the Investigating Officer were examined. The next date fixed by the trial Court is March 21, 2022, when the Investigating Officer will be examined. Considering the fact that the prosecution is not indolent in conducting the trial and considering the fact that there is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection dated September 15, 2021, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

We, however, request the trial Court to dispose of the trial as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.

In such circumstances, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (DB) 575 of 2022 is dismissed.
