...for the respondent No.1 Considering the nature of the dispute, the matter was sent to the mediation by an order dated 20th September, 2022. In course of mediation, the parties have agreed to settle their dispute. Final report of the mediation disclosing the settlement arrived at between the parties in accordance with Rule 24 of the Civil Procedure Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation Rules, 2006 framed by the High Court at Calcutta is taken on record. The parties have now been reunited with their son. We record our appreciation for the efforts made by the learned Mediators in bringing about a settlement between the parties and in helping to reunite the parties.

The appeal and the application are accordingly disposed of on the basis of the terms of settlement recorded in the final report of the mediation dated 4th November, 2022.

The Secretary, Mediation and Conciliation Committee, High Court, Calcutta is directed to communicate this order along with letters of appreciation to Justice Madhumati Mitra (Retired) and Dr. Anupurba Banerjee.

In view of the aforesaid, Matrimonial Suit No. 115 of 2015 stands rejected.

The order and the decree dated 24th December, 2020 is hereby set aside.

The appeal and the connected application are accordingly, disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
