Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that there was land dispute giving rise to the present police complaint. The petitioners were falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary including the seizure list. He submits that the petitioners are involved in promoting land belonging to the State and receiving money from the unsuspecting members of the public. The incident relates to such activities of the petitioners.

Considering the fact that petitioners are involved in dealing with the public in respect of land belonging to the State and considering the fact that the materials in the case diary as against the petitioners and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the

petitioners therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

CRM (A) 1020 of 2022 is dismissed.
