The grievance of the petitioner is directed against reconnection of the electricity connection of the petitioner.

The statutory respondents are represented and submits that there are dues in excess of Rs.1 lakh which are due and payable by the petitioner.

It is also submitted on behalf of the statutory authorities that a new meter had been connected to the premises of the petitioner and the outstanding dues in respect thereof have not been paid by the petitioner.

In view of the admitted default in payment of the electricity connection, there is no scope of passing any order in favour of the petitioner.

Accordingly, WPA 4316 of 2021 is dismissed.

The Regional Manager is directed to inform the petitioner of the steps which the petitioner has to take for restoration of the electricity connection.
