The petitioner is a retired employee of the Calcutta State Transport Corporation (CSTC). He alleges that some amount is due to him on account of leave encashment.

It appears that there is no representation from the side of the petitioner demanding his claim before the authority.

Prior to filing the instant writ petition, the petitioner ought to have approached the authority with his prayer for disbursement of the leave encashment which is alleged to be due. Without filing the representation, the instant writ petition ought not to have been filed.

Nevertheless, as prayer has been made seeking liberty to file the representation, the instant writ petition

stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the authority highlighting his claim.

If any representation is made, the same shall be considered by the authority in accordance with the prevailing rules.

reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner.

All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
