Sudip Bar Mr. Arunava Ganguly ... for the petitioner This is an application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Chandannagar, Hooghly, to dispose of the Title Suit No.621 of 2017 expeditiously.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of notice upon the opposite party. However, the petitioner shall be obliged to forward the copy of this application as well as the order of this court upon the opposite party or the learned advocates appearing for the opposite party representing him in the learned trial court.

From the order sheet appended to the civil revisional application, it appears that the matter was referred before the mediation centre and the report was filed before the learned trial Judge with the endorsement 'not settled'.

It appears from the order sheet appended to their application that an application under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure is pending.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the said application is otherwise ready for hearing. In view thereof, CO 566 of 2025 is disposed of with a request to the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Chandannagar, Hooghly to take up the hearing of the application under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure on the next date fixed, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing, and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

The learned trial Judge is further requested to dispose of the suit expeditiously.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
