Chittaranjan Mondal, Pradhan of Bilkananda-I Gram Panchayat, is present before this court and has filed an affidavit of compliance through his learned advocate. Therefore, nothing further remains to be decided in the contempt application.

The contempt proceedings are dropped. The personal appearance of the Pradhan is dispensed with and the Rule is discharged.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner has been served with a copy of the compliance report and he does not raise any objection to the disposal of the contempt application.
