Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.
Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the incident occurred due to property dispute. Some of the co-accuseds were granted either bail or anticipatory bail. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the victim as also the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code. She submits that the petitioner is principal accused who gave the blows to the victim resulting in the injuries.
The de facto complainant is represented.
Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 1022 of 2022, is rejected.
