Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is in custody for 202 days. The police filed charge-sheet. One of the co-accused was granted bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, three other co-accused were denied bail. The petitioner stands on the same footing as that of the persons who were denied bail. Considering the gravity of the offence and considering the fact that the petitioner stands on the same footing as that of the other persons who were denied bail by the High Court, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

In such circumstances, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (DB) 582 of 2022 is dismissed.
