Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that this is the second occasion when the petitioner was not represented. He prays for disposal of the application for bail on merit. He submits that there are materials against the petitioner. A co-accused was denied bail by the Co-ordinate Bench earlier.
Considering the gravity of the offence and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected and the application being CRM 1671 of 2021 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Ananda Kumar Mukherjee, J.)
