After hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction on the petitioner to apply before the appropriate authority under the provisions of Rule 24 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rule, 1989 for licence of a driving school for imparting instructions in driving motor vehicles. The concerned authority being the Regional Transport Authority, Purba Medinipur shall dispose of the application within the time-framed provided under Rule 24(3) of the Central Motor Vehicles Rule, 1989 after considering the contentions of all relevant parties including the petitioner.

The application shall be disposed of by way of a reasoned order which shall be passed within six weeks from date subject to all formalities being complied with by the petitioner. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made

available to the petitioner within a week from which such order is passed.

W.P.A.3534 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
