The petitioners complain of police inaction.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, although the complaint dated November 11, 2020 discloses commission of cognizable offences, the police are inactive.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the police enquired into the complaint and on enquiry found that there are disputes with regard to an immovable property. The police submitted a prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Report submitted on behalf of the State be kept on record.

In the facts of the present case, the petitioners lodged a complaint with the police dated November 11, 2020. There is no material on record to suggest that

any person was hurt as there is no medical report in the file with the writ petition.

In such circumstances, since the police enquired into the complaint and submitted a prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, no further interference is called for.

W.P.A. No.4359 of 2021 is disposed of, accordingly.
