Roy ....for the school authority Affidavit of service and supplementary affidavit filed in Court today is taken on record. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's application for transfer has been rejected by the school on the ground that he is the only teacher in the subject of the school. Since the single teacher bar can no longer be applied under the Amended 2015 Rules, the petitioner's application for transfer shall be forwarded by the Head of the Institution to the concerned D.I. of Schools, immediately for further action in terms of the 2015 Rules.

The petitioner shall make an application afresh to the school immediately, if necessary to change preferred option schools, to address vacancies already filled up in the meantime.

Upon the transfer of the petitioner, the respondents shall arrange to appoint a teacher in the school in the vacancy created.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
