The petitioners are aggrieved by the order of retention passed by the Special Officer (Building), Kolkata Municipal Corporation on 24th September, 2020.

The order is an appealable one.

The Court is not inclined to enter into the merits of the said order which was passed quite sometime back. There is no reason to interfere in the matter under the extraordinary high prerogative writ jurisdiction at this stage.

It will be open for the petitioners to approach the statutory appellate forum for remedy.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
