Learned Additional Public Prosecutor draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the victim. He submits that the victim is 7 years old at the time of the incident. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM (DB) 585 of 2022 is rejected.
