The petitioner has challenged one notification dated 17th August, 2015 issued by the Food and Supplies Department, Government of West Bengal. The said notification says that in view of the implementation of the National Food Security Act, 2013 in the State the FPS vacancies notified by Memo Nos.

2480/FS/O/Sectt./CSS/7S-16/2013 dated 26.08.2013 and other notification dated 6.11.2013 and 20.01.2014 and 08.01.2015 were cancelled.

It was also made clear in the said notification that no further action would be taken in connection with the applications received against such vacancies. The petitioner filed one writ application being WPA 4346 of 2020 in which certain order was passed by this

Hon'ble Court and in compliance with the said order the office of the Sub-Divisional Controller (F&S) & ExOfficio, Asstt. Director, Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas by his letter dated 28th December, 2020 being Annexure P10 of the writ application intimated the petitioner that his application for obtaining fresh FPS licence submitted in respect of vacancy notification dated 04.03.2014 at the place of Indrapur under Pathar Pratima Block was cancelled by the Government Order dated 17.08.2015. This Government Order has already been referred hereinbefore.

In view of such situation, I do not find any merit in this writ application. The writ application is dismissed.
