Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State along with the acknowledgement of the private opposite party no.2/de facto complainant be kept with the record.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for bail on the grounds that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case and is in custody for five months.

Learned advocate appearing for the de facto complainant opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the victim is presently carrying for five months and it is because of the sexual assault inflicted by the present petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State also opposes the prayer for bail and submits that evidence of the victim is yet to be recorded.

Accordingly, I direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the process of progress of the trial.

Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the evidence of the victim is recorded. At this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application for bail, being CRM (M) 483 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
