Having heard learned advocates for the respective parties and upon ascertaining that the aforesaid structure being premises No. 16, Hemanta Basu Sarai is Grade-III Heritage structure, however, at the same time noting that the petitioner's application for urgent repair is pending, I am of the view that the Municipality/Heritage Conservation Committee should look into the matter and take a decision in this regard by passing a reasoned order.

It is expected that the decision shall be taken within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 3765 of 2026 stands disposed of.
