Petitioner submits that her complaint with the police authorities did not yield any result. State has submitted a report prepared by the Inspector-in-Charge, Haldia Police Station wherein it reflects that the police station did not receive any information from the petitioner. In fact, in spite of the same, the petitioner was offered by the concerned police station after receiving instructions to submit a complaint for registration of a case. However, till date no written information has been furnished to the police station.

Learned advocate for the respondent no.5 is present and submits that the writ petition is not maintainable and the accusations which have been made are denied by the respondents.

Having considered the report of the police authorities, I direct that in case the petitioner approaches the police authorities, it would be discretion of the police authorities to act in the mode and manner as is reflected in the report submitted before this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 3818 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
