The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Other than the statement of the co-accused, there is no other material to implicate the present petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that as per the statement of the victim, a Bangladeshi girl, she was handed over to the principal accused by an individual. Although the name was not taken, it is reasonably suspected that the petitioner is the said individual. He could be identified by the particular victim once he is placed in the dock. That apart, there are phone call records between the present petitioner and the principal co-accused at the relevant time.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
