Learned counsel appearing for the Distribution Licensee hands over a copy of a quotation in respect of the dues of the petitioner.

A copy thereof is handed over here and now to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner as well. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instruction from his client, submits that the petitioner is willing to deposit the entire amount for the purpose of getting the new electricity connection.

As such, WPA 3585 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the petitioner to deposit the entire amount as disclosed in the quotation, that is, Rs.7,704/- and to comply with all necessary formalities for getting new electricity connection at the earliest, preferably within a week from date.

Upon such deposit being made and the formalities having been complied with by the petitioner, the WBSEDCL shall give the new electricity connection to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, positively within one week, thereafter.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
