The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Howrah Municipal Corporation to pass order after conducting hearing on 4th November, 2022. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned advocate appearing for the private respondents admits that hearing took place on the scheduled date and unanimously submits that the Corporation is yet to pass an order in the matter. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the concerned respondent of the Howrah Municipal Corporation to pass order in furtherance to the hearing held on 4th November, 2022.

If required, fresh opportunity of hearing may be granted to all the necessary parties.

The Corporation may also hold a joint inspection upon prior notice, if necessary.

Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
