No. 29 CHC Rejected C.R.M.(A) 549 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Palashipara Police Station Case No. 08 of 2024 dated 02.01.2024 under Sections 341/326/307/379/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In the matter of : Jiyarul Sekh ...... petitioner Mr. Asraf Mandal ....for the petitioner Mr. Mainak Gupta ....for the State Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

In an incident of assault, the injured suffered two fractures and was required to undergo surgery. Petitioner is named by such injured as one of the assailants. Apparently, iron rods were used in such incident of assault.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 549 of 2024 is disposed of.
