Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that from the joint possession of the petitioners 26.02 kgs. of ganja were recovered. Petitioners are in custody for 8 months and after submission of charge-sheet evidence has commenced. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the quantum of seizure and I am of the view that there is no possibility of the trial concluding in near future, as such, the prayer for bail of the petitioners be allowed. The petitioner no.1, namely, Angura Bibi and the petitioner no.2, namely, Sarifa Bibi shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) each with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the

satisfaction of the learned Judge, Special Court, under NDPS Actcum learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 3rd Court, Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman. If on bail, the petitioners shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of Paschim Bardhaman without prior permission of the learned special court. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 338 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
