The petitioner is a victim of an offence under Section 376 of the IPC. FIR No.182/20 dated 27th June, 2020 has been registered by the Serampore Police Station.

Investigation has been completed and charge sheet No.68/22 dated 31st March, 2022 under sections 420, 417, 376, 506 of the IPC has been filed by the investigating officer. Prayer has been made for issuance of warrant of arrest against the accused.

It is submitted that warrant has been issued. The investigating officer of the Serampore Police Station shall ensure that the warrant has been executed. In the event warrant cannot be executed, appropriate steps shall be taken for obtaining orders of proclamation and attachment.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

A copy of the charge sheet is taken on record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.)
