It is submitted on behalf of the respondent CESC that this matter pertains to splitting of load of the electricity connection.

The respondent CESC relies on a letter dated 30th November, 2018.

In view of the statutory alternative remedy under Clause 14 of the Regulation 15, I am of the view that this writ petition is not maintainable.

The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the Ombudsman, if so advised in accordance with law. The petitioner is further granted liberty to file an application to the Ombudsman within two weeks from date. If such an application is filed, the Ombudsman is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner within four weeks from the date of receipt of such application after giving a right of hearing to all the affected parties and passing a reasoned order.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 2936 of 2020 is disposed off.
