The petitioners are confirmed Assistant Teachers of two primary schools of the same districts, they are praying intra-district mutual transfer.

The petitioner no.1 is a teacher of Narayanpur Char N S Primary School under Manikchak-I Circle of the D.P.S.C., Malda, the respondent no.4 herein whereas the petitioner no.2 is a teacher of Jotpatta C S Primary School under Manikchak-I Circle of the D.P.S.C., Malda.

The representations of the petitioners for such mutual transfer, both dated December 17, 2024 are pending consideration before the Chairman of the said District Primary School Council, the respondent no.5.

The respondent no.5 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representations in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA 3875 of 2025 is disposed with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
