Petitioner This revisional application was earlier taken up on 13th of September, 2023, when an accommodation was sought for on behalf of the petitioner. Today, when the revisional application has been called, none represented the petitioner.

I have perused the contents advanced in the revisional application and I find that the Hon'ble Division Bench in CRM (A) 5894 of 2022 has observed that there were allegations of violation of the provisions of the Act of 1989 in public places and as such approved regarding the applicability of the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Having regard to the stage at which the petitioner approached this court and the fact that the petitioner has not shown any further interest in pursuing the present revisional application, I am of the view that further pendency of the revisional application is unwarranted.

If there are any issues relating to the merits of the case, the petitioner would be at liberty to take up the same at the stage of Section 227/239 of the Cr.P.C. before the ld. Special Court or during the course of the trial. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 566 of 2023 is disposed of.
