A request has been made for the removal of the electricity cable from the petitioner's property.

The private respondents are not represented in the present proceeding.

An adjournment has been sought on behalf of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited.

In the opinion of this Court, it is not presently feasible to adjudicate the factual dispute regarding whether the petitioner's land has indeed been used to provide the electricity connection to respondent nos.6 to 9.

In light of the foregoing, liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit an application before the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas, under Section 3(b) of the Works of Licensees Rules, 2006. If such representation is made within two weeks from the date of this order, the District Magistrate is directed to consider the same in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 3888 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
