report dated 16.03.2025 has been submitted by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State. The same reflects that in the year 2022 a partition suit no.128 of 2022 was filed before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Lalbagh, Murshidabad over the whole 254 Decimal against Elahi Bux Mondal and others. An order was passed by the learned civil court that the plaintiff and the principal defendants would maintain status quo in respect of the nature, character and possession over the suit property till 06.09.2025 and the next date has been fixed on 06.09.2025.

Having regard to the fact that status quo order has been passed by the civil court, if there has been any violation in respect of the said order, petitioners would approach the civil court for necessary remedies for rendering police assistance. In case such an order is passed, police authorities would take steps by respecting and obeying the order of the civil court.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 3894 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
