Bhakat ...for the State Having heard the learned advocates for the petitioner and the State and on perusal of the case diary specially the seizure list dated 1st February, 2022 it transpires that leading to the statement of the present petitioner, the Investigating Officer recovered melted gold from a jewellery shop. Complicity of the accused as receiver of the stolen property is prima facie established. Therefore, considering the nature of allegation, gravity of offence and the materials collected against the present petitioner during investigation, I am not inclined to release him on bail. Prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.
Personal appearance of the Investigating Officer be dispensed with.
The application is, thus, disposed of.
