An information to such extent was sent to the Officer-in-charge of Bhabanipur P.S., Dist.-Purba Medinipur on or about 25.01.2024.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the police authorities did not act on

such information.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report and submits that the land is un-demarcated.

However, subsequent to receipt of the information, a proceeding under Section 107 of the Cr.P.C. was drawn up by the police authorities.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that there are no issues pending between the petitioner and the private respondents but the petitioner himself is trying to grab the undemarcated property.

Having considered the contentions advanced by the parties, I direct the O/C, Bhabanipur Police Station, Purba Medinipur to ensure that no breach of peace and tranquility takes place at the locality with respect to the subject-matter of the land

as referred to in the writ petition.

The Officer-in-charge would also ensure that no untoward incident takes place as the petitioner and the private respondents are at loggerhead.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 3905 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner as well as the respondents.

Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record.
