Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the married sister-in-law of the deceased. She submits that the police filed charge sheet. The husband and the other co-accused were granted bail by the jurisdictional Court. Therefore, custodial detention of the petitioner is not required.
Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the post mortem report and to the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He submits that the death was homicidal in nature. The petitioner was avoiding the warrant of arrest. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 1054 of 2022 is dismissed.
