1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

2. The present writ petition has been filed aggrieved by the order dated 14th January, 2025 passed in M.A. 122 of 2024 arising out of O.A. 293 of 2024. The Original Application was filed by the present petitioner assailing an order of punishment dated 6th January, 2023. There was some initiative by the authorities on 19th September, 2024 to ensure that the order of punishment was given effect and aggrieved thereby the M.A was filed seeking stay of the order dated 6th January, 2023 in so far as its consequences are concerned.

3. Today during the course of proceedings our attention has been drawn to a communication dated 29th October, 2024 issued by the District

Magistrate, Nadia which we do not consider to go into in view of the nature of order that we propose to pass.

4. We are informed that the matter is fixed on 11th March, 2025 before the Tribunal and that the pleadings have been exchanged between the parties, leaving only the hearing aspect before the Tribunal. In view thereof and since the Tribunal is going to pass final orders after hearing of the matter we are only recording the submissions made on behalf of the parties that they shall not be taking any unnecessary adjournments. While recording so we observe that the Tribunal should dispose of the matter expeditiously without any unnecessary delay.
