Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to pay compensation in respect of requisition and acquisition of land of the petitioner in terms of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. It appears from the supplementary affidavit submitted on behalf of the State respondents that the land in question along with structure on it comprising 13 decimals in plot no. 856 was not included in the acquisition proceeding and therefore, may be treated as released from acquisition. It is not in dispute that the said land is in possession of the petitioner who resides therein with his family. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
