Heard learned Advocates for both the parties. 2.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the principal assailant. He assaulted the victim with a sharp cutting weapon on the head. He does not stand on the same footing with co-accused who have been granted pre-arrest bail. Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
