None appears on behalf of the petitioner. Mr. Ghosh, learned counsel for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is present. Nobody appeared for the petitioner on 21st February, 2023 also.

The main grievance canvassed in this PIL is regarding enhancement of parking charges.

Learned counsel for the Corporation submits that during the pendency of the case, the parking charges so enhanced have been reduced to some extent.

The petitioner has not chosen to challenge the modified / reduced parking charges.

Thus, we find no reason to keep this PIL pending. PIL is disposed of by reserving liberty to the petitioner that if he feels still aggrieved by the reduced charges of parking, he may represent before the Corporation.

In that event, the

Corporation shall consider and decide his representation in accordance with law.

It is made clear that the PIL is disposed of without expressing any opinion on merit of this petition. 7.

All parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble High Court.
