Heard learned Advocates for both the parties. 2.

We have considered the materials on record. No narcotics was recovered from the petitioner. His complicity has transpired from the statement of co-accused from whom narcotics was recovered. Petitioner avoided investigation and could not be interrogated. In light of the aforesaid facts, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioner during further investigation is necessary. Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
