He has also prayed for a declaration that his detention and arrest is illegal and void ab initio. The petitioner is grossly mistaken. This Court is not a court for granting bail. Moreover, Hon'ble Supreme Court has recorded a caution in Sakiri Vasu -versusState of U.P. (vide (2008) 2 SCC 409) as to entertaining writ application where alternative remedies have not been exhausted.

Therefore, I decline to entertain this application. The writ application is dismissed.

No costs.
