Mr. Soumen Sarkar ....for the petitioners Mr. Chandi Charan De, AGP Ms. Chandana Ghosh ....for the State Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners have prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to allow the petitioners as well as other law clerks of the Association to perform their duties and to give assistance to their respective clients. However, no materials have been annexed to this writ petition in support of their claim that the petitioners have been prohibited and/or restrained from performing their duties in accordance with law.

For such reason, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioners at this stage.

Accordingly, WPA 4085 of 2026 stands disposed of leaving the petitioners free to take steps in accordance with law, if the occasion so arises.

There will be no order as to costs.
