Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was falsely implicated. The father-in-law of the petitioner was implicated previously by the de-facto complainant in the year 2007.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) and the medical report.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1066 of 2022 is dismissed.
