The writ petitioner is aggrieved that in spite of the meeting of the Board being held to consider for issuance of offer letter to the writ petitioner, the decision thereof has not yet been communicated to the writ petitioner.

Mr. Nandi, learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioner says that the petitioner being a bona fide intending operator, who has submitted his application to the respondent authorities along with the statutory fees, for issuance of permit should be found eligible for issuance of offer letter in terms of the said application. Mr. Deb Roy, learned advocate appearing for the State respondent says that the decision of the meeting of the Board dated March 24, 2025 shall be immediately communicated to the writ petitioner.

Having heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties and after perusing the records, the Court finds it proper to dispose of the present writ petition by directing the respondent no. 4/ the Secretary, Regional

Transport Authority, Paschim Bardhaman to immediately communicate to the writ petitioner the decision of the meeting of the Board dated March 24, 2025, as regards his prayer pursuant to his application for issuance of permit, within a period of seven days from the date of communication of copy of this order. Needless is to mention that any grievance of the writ petitioner as regards the decision of the Board, so communicated shall be amenable to be challenged in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.
